Visa and MasterCard have revised their security requirements for all merchants
processing cardholder transactions. These new controls are being put in place
to prevent fraudulent compromise of credit card data. The new regulations are referred to as PCI Compliance. Annual PCI Compliance is mandatory for
all businesses that process, store or transmit cardholder data.
ACCPC has developed a relationship with ControlScan that is accessible in Mx Merchant for your convenience that will
assist you in registering your business annually to maintain compliance with the PCI DSS.
You will need to log in to Mx Merchant - Settings - Compliance. You will then be asked to fill out a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) to determine the level of security your particular business will need to comply with. From there you will be directed to all other steps necessary.
