What is the discount rate?
Answer:
Every bank charges a discount rate. The discount rate is the
percentage of each transaction that the processing company charges to handle
the transaction for you, Our discount rates are the lowest for both retail
(swiped) merchants and for mail order/telephone order and Internet merchants
in the industry.
Question:
Are all charges proccessed at the discount rate?
Answer:
You need to be very careful here, as this is where many proccessing
companies will hide much higher rates. They will offer you a low disount rate,
but, very few charges will actually qualify for that rate, most charges will
be downgraded and charged at a much higher percentage. At ACCPC everytime
you process a customers Visa/MasterCard/Discover you will be charged the interchange plus rate quoted.
Question:
How about other miscellaneous fees? Where are the hidden charges?
Everybody else has them!
Answer:
We don't believe in deceptive practices. In fact we hate that kind
of selling! Your only fees are the discount rate, per charge fee, and the
$7.50 per month for ACCPC to issue a complete itemized statement with each
daily batch on it so you can easily reconcile your books on a monthly basis.
This fee also helps to defray the cost of the "800" Help Desk that is
available to you 24 hours a day as an ACCPC customer. You will always have a
thoroughly trained person on the other end of the phone that can help you at a
moments notice! There is no start-up cost whatsoever...zero ($75 to $195
savings!)
Question:
How long before I can accept credit and/or ATM/debit cards (i.e.,
the account is live)?
Answer:
Once your merchant account is approved, which usually takes
two/three business days, you will be able to accept cards as soon as you
receive & plug in your terminal.

How do I Program and Set up my terminal?
Answer:
Your Terminal and all equipment will be delivered to your door ready
to operate. Just plug in electric, and phone/ethernet line and your ready to take
Credit cards. ACCPC offers 24 hour live merchant support, so any questions you
have regarding installation or operation, can always be answered immediately.

When do I receive my funds?
Answer:
When you are accepted as a merchant with no restrictions (99% are
accepted), funds are directly deposited into your account in two to three
business days after you batch the order. Batching is a simple process that
allows you to review the days charges and then submit! You can also set up for
auto batch, at no additional charge. Some businesses may qualify for (NDF) Next Day Funding, ask if yours does.

Do I need to open a seperate checking account?
Answer:
No, all funds are credited and program charges are debited from the
checking account that you provide with your application.
