IMPORTANT NOTICE



Visa and MasterCard have revised their security
requirements for all merchants processing cardholder transactions. These new
controls are being put in place to prevent fraudulent compromise of credit
card data. The new regulations are referred to as PCI Compliance. PCI
Compliance is mandatory for all businesses that process, store or transmit
cardholder data.



ACCPC has developed a link on our website for your
convenience that will assist you in registering your business compliance with
Visa and MasterCard. Our website address is www.accpc.com.
Once on this website, click on "PCI Compliance" on the top toolbar and it will
take you to a sign-in screen. You will need to fill in your username, which is
your Merchant ID# and your temporary password, which is the last five digits
of your Merchant ID#. You will then be asked to fill out a Self-Assessment
Questionnaire (SAQ) to determine the level of security your particular
business will need to comply with. From there you will be directed to all
other steps necessary.



You will have until June 30, 2010 to complete the SAQ.
If you do not become compliant by that date, you will be assessed a
non-compliance fee of $19.95 per month beginning on your July statement until
you successfully complete and pass the validation process.



If your business accepts Pin based debit and uses an
encrypted device to enter the pin #, you are required to use specific secure
equipment. Many older pin-entry devices need to be replaced by the July 1,
2010 deadline. Only Verifone 1000SE's with a S/N# of 180 or 190 are
acceptable. Hypercom S1300 pinpads are now required, S8's and S9's must be
replaced. If your pin pad does not display a Triple Des sticker on the back
that has a KSI # beginning with a "5", please call us to request a
replacement.
